What is a BIG SALTS Salt Fill?
A Salt Fill is a bottle of nicotine-free flavour concentrate with room left for a nicotine shot. The 20ml bottle holds 10ml of concentrate and takes one 10ml Salt Shot. The 60ml bottle holds 30ml of concentrate and takes three 10ml Salt Shots. Once mixed, you have a nicotine salt e-liquid in the bottle, ready to fill your device.
Is a Salt Fill the same as a longfill?
Yes. Longfill is the general name for a bottle of flavour concentrate that you top up with nicotine shots. Salt Fill is the BIG SALTS name for our longfills, which are made to be mixed with nicotine salt shots.
What strengths are the Salt Shots?
Salt Shots are 10ml bottles of nicotine salt e-liquid in three strengths: 2% (20mg/ml), 1% (10mg/ml) and 0.5% (5mg/ml). 20mg/ml is the maximum allowed in the UK.
How strong is the e-liquid after mixing?
A shot is diluted by the concentrate, so the finished liquid is weaker than the shot. One 20mg shot in a 20ml Salt Fill gives about 10mg/ml (1%). Three 20mg shots in a 60ml Salt Fill also give about 10mg/ml (1%). A 10mg shot gives about 5mg/ml (0.5%), and a 5mg shot about 2.5mg/ml (0.25%).
How do I mix a Salt Fill?
Remove the cap, lift the nib, pour in the Salt Shot (one for a 20ml, three for a 60ml), push the nib back down, replace the cap and shake well. The liquid is ready to use straight away.
Which devices can I use it in?
Any refillable vape device. Nicotine salt e-liquid suits pod devices and low-power kits best.
3Buying and the law
Are BIG SALTS products legal in the UK?
Yes. Salt Shots and the 10ml Nic Salts range are nicotine-containing e-liquids that comply with the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016: 10ml bottles, no more than 20mg/ml, child-resistant and tamper-evident packaging, and notified to the MHRA where required. Salt Fills are nicotine-free concentrates. From 1 October 2026 vaping liquid carries Vaping Products Duty; our prices on the site are the prices you pay.
Who can buy?
Only people aged 18 or over. We check age at checkout and our couriers may ask for proof of age at delivery. From 29 October 2026 the minimum age of 18 applies to every vaping product, including nicotine-free ones.
Where are BIG SALTS made?
In Britain. BIG SALTS is a brand of E Juice Warehouse Limited, a company registered in England and Wales and based in Liverpool.
3Delivery, returns and trade
How much is delivery and how long does it take?
Royal Mail Standard is £2.95 and DPD 48 hour is £4.95. Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Thursday are dispatched the same working day. Full details are on the Delivery Information page.
Can I return a product?
You can cancel an order within 14 days of receiving it, as long as the bottles are still sealed. Opened e-liquid cannot be returned unless it is faulty. Faulty or wrong items are refunded or replaced and we pay the return postage. See the Refund and Returns Policy.
Do you sell to shops and wholesalers?
Yes. Retailers can apply for a trade account on the Become a Stockist page. Trade accounts see trade prices and pay by bank transfer. Trade customers must follow the age of sale law and operate their own age verification policy.
