E Juice Warehouse Limited, trading as BIG SALTS, sells vaping products and nicotine products. The law sets a minimum age of 18 for buying these products, makes it an offence to buy them for someone under 18, and requires businesses that sell them online to operate an age verification policy. This page is that policy.
Our rule
We do not sell to anyone under 18, and we do not sell to anyone we believe is buying for someone under 18. From 29 October 2026 the minimum age of 18 applies to every vaping product we sell, including nicotine-free products.
What we do online
- Age statement on every page. The website states that it is for adults aged 18 or over, and visitors are asked to confirm their age when they first arrive.
- Confirmation at checkout. Before an order can be placed, the customer must confirm that they are 18 or over and that the person receiving the order is 18 or over. The confirmation is recorded against the order with the date and time.
- Age checks before acceptance. We check the customer’s age against an electronic age verification service before accepting an order, and we may ask for a copy of photographic identification where a check is inconclusive. An order is not dispatched until the check is passed. A customer who has passed a check does not need to repeat it for later orders on the same account unless their details change.
- Checks at the door. Our couriers may ask the person receiving the parcel for proof of age and will not hand over a parcel to anyone under 18. Parcels that cannot be delivered for this reason are held for collection or returned to us.
- Refusals. If we cannot confirm that a customer is 18 or over, we cancel the order, refund any payment and record the refusal.
Records
We keep a record of each age confirmation and age check with the order it relates to, and a log of refused sales. These records are kept for six years and are available to Trading Standards and other enforcement officers on request.
Trade customers
Businesses that buy from us for resale must operate their own age verification policy, follow Challenge 25 at the counter and online, and never sell our products to anyone under 18. We may end a trade account that does not meet these conditions.
Responsibility and review
The directors of E Juice Warehouse Limited are responsible for this policy. Staff who handle orders are trained on it. We review it at least once a year and whenever the law changes, including the changes made by the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026.
